Regional Heavy Haul Service
Washington Carriers, Inc. is a “Regional
Heavy Haul Carrier”. We own 22 four axle tractors that are
all licensed for 105,000 lbs. GVW. We operate in Washington, Oregon,
Idaho, Montana, Alberta, and British Columbia. As a part of our
heavy haul service, we do the following:
- Reefer Service
WCI owns six refrigerated trailers, sizes 48'
and 53', that can carry up to 64,000 lbs. in cargo weight.
- Intermodal
WCI owns eleven super chassis' for hauling
export/import containers. Currently we serve the ports of Seattle,
Tacoma and Portland, and have interchange agreements with most
of the major steamship lines. Our extensive experience covers
transporting containers for import and export, as well as hauling
virtually every size and type of container available, including
fresh, frozen, and dry commodities. We can carry as much as
57,000 lbs. plus in cargo weight, depending on the weight and
type of containers provided.
- Flatbed
We own eight flatbed trailers; two 53' trailers and several
sets of doubles. We have extensive experience hauling fresh
fruit, but are also available for hire to haul virtually any
type of cargo.
- Bulk
We also own two belt trailers and one set of hoppers for hauling
bulk commodities. These self-unloading, open-top trailers are
available for hauling any type of agricultural commodity, up
to 32 tons of cargo per trailer.
Freight Brokerage
WCI Freight Brokers is a licensed and bonded
transportation broker. If we don't have a truck available, we
can find one for you to go anywhere in the U.S. Every carrier
that we use is required to have their insurance and authority
on file with our company — and we demand they provide the
same level of service you expect from us.
Third Party Logistics
We are available for hire as a third party logistics provider.
If your in-house transportation costs are too high, you may want
